Layla turns one!

My niece turned a year! This is the youngest of my sisters 3 daughters. We celebrated at Fongs plantation in Kāhalu’u. The day started rainy while we were setting up but as evening approached it started to clear up and it turned out to be a gorgeous night. The entertainment included the Sons of Yeshua and Kapena. Whenever Kapena performs at a party I am the first to stand up and dance. I can’t help myself, they are favorite band to perform at luaus. The food was awesome. My sisters’ mother-in-law cooks the best Filipino food and we also had some Hawaiian food. And the perks of going to a party where the food is cooked by Filipinos, is that you always get to make some to-go plates before you leave.
