Visiting Kuha’o in Cali

Ever since Kuha’o moved to California for college, my anxiety has gone through the roof. I don’t know how parents get used to this because I don’t seem to be doing a very good job of showing my depression of having him so far away from home.

Visiting him has been one of the most anticipated moments for me. I’m so glad that my sister and her family as well as my mom were able to join us. We had a chance to reconnect and create such lasting memories on this trip. We were able to go to Knott’s Berry Farm, do some swimming in the hotel pool (even though it was freezing cold), and go to one of Kuha’os football games at their home field.

Returning home without him was hard but I loved the way our trip turned out.
